| DESCRIPTION General An impact resistant, wall mounted buffer designed to protect surfaces against impact damage and wear. The system comprises a resilient PVC-U cover profile which engages over a rigid aluminium core mounted on spacers. Endstops and corner pieces are included within the system. Performance INTRAD REFLEX buffer is hard wearing, resilient, resistant to abrasion and to most chemicals. The PVC-U material has been British Standard tested for fire propagation and surface spread of flame (BS 476: Parts 6 and 7), achieving a Class 1 rating, and Class 0 in accordance with the Building Regulations. | Impact resistant cover Extruded PVC-U profile designed to snap fix onto an extruded aluminium core. Supplied in standard lengths of 3m. Impact absorber Continuous, resilient PVC insert which engages into the aluminium core and absorbs the shock of impact. Aluminium core Profiled aluminium extrusion to BS 1474, holding shock absorber and over which the PVC-U cover profile is snap-fixed. Wall mounting spacers Moulded spacers for distancing REFLEX buffer away from the wall. The resilient spacers also contribute to absorbing impact. Corner piece and endstop (Code ref RHB-1-ES) Hard wearing polypropylene component which functions both as endstop or corner piece for external corners.  |

INSTALLATION INTRAD REFLEX buffer is screw-fixed to the substrate at 600mm centres maximum. Types and condition of substrate vary, so it is essential to use fixings that are appropriate for the substrate in question.
